In this lower level game and family room, the rock, leather, iron, copper and wood surfaces needed some serious softening. The client’s directive was color and fun. Look at it now! Lively patterned valances, pillows and throws, abstract art and playful candles juxtapose against the fine furnishings and architecture. It’s very opposite, but it works.
